Climate NOW Progress Report 2022

February 9th, 2022-

With the start of 2022 comes the opportunity for reflection on the past and planning for the future. Here at Climate NOW we have been strategizing about how to improve our work going forward and how to continue impacting young people around the world. In this progress update you will find information about Climate NOW plans for the upcoming months and reports on recent Climate NOW actions.

Plans for the future

Climate NOW is excited to continue working with schools and students in communities around the world this year. Some of our future plans include:

  • Growing our Climate NOW Hero program in school environmental clubs.

  • Working with our Climate NOW branch in Africa to start a sustainable community garden.

  • Convening local meetups with Climate NOW volunteers.

  • Hosting workshops for media training, fundraising, and other skill sets for Climate NOW community members.

Progress updates

Recently, Climate NOW volunteers have been hard at work presenting to school groups. These students have been equipped with the information to understand climate change and engage in climate action through presentations given by Climate NOW affiliates.

Personal update from our founder

Hello everyone! This is Sarah, the Founder and President of Climate NOW. As some of you may have noticed, I had been out of office for a few months due to a head injury. I am happy to report that I am recovering now and getting back into the flow of daily life. For those who sent messages and havenโ€™t received a reply, I am getting back to you all as soon as possible. Thank you for all the messages and healing words.
